🟡 SEGGER Trade-In Program
The SEGGER Trade-In Program gives you a simple and cost-effective way to upgrade your SEGGER J-Link, J-Trace, and Flasher device to the latest hardware generation.
By trading in older devices, you benefit from improved performance, new features, and long-term software compatibility. The process is designed to make hardware upgrades straightforward and efficient.
How it works
Please send us your trade-in request via e-mail including the hardware serial number(s) and your company contact information.
Once your request has been approved, you can either:
• return the unit to SEGGER at your own expense, or
• decommission the unit yourself and provide documented proof of decommissioning
SEGGER will then provide further instructions for the exchange process.
Examples
Replace the same model
Example for a device older than 3 years:
You have an old Flasher Pro and want to replace it with a Flasher Pro featuring the latest hardware revision.
Trade-in credit: 30% of the current list price
Upgrade to a higher model
Example for a device older than 3 years:
You have an older J-Link Plus and want to trade it in for a J-Link Pro.
Trade-in credit: 30% of the lower-priced model
Conditions
- Units up to 3 years old qualify for a 50% trade-in discount on the current list price.
- Units older than 3 years and up to 10 years old qualify for a 30 % trade-in discount on the current list price.
- The maximum trade-in credit is limited by the device with the lower list price involved in the exchange.
- Only one trade-in unit can be credited per new unit purchased.
- Devices may be in working or non-working condition.
- Each unit must be approved by SEGGER prior to participation in this program.
Eligible Devices
SEGGER flash programmers and debug and trace probes up to ten years old qualify for the Trade-In Program. You can
either replace your existing device with the same model or upgrade to a higher model that better fits your current
development needs. The program provides a straightforward way to modernize your hardware setup. Devices sold at
discounts for special usage are not covered under the trade-in program (e.g. J-Link Lite, J-Link OB, J-Link EDU, etc.).
